Ghila Krajzman is a New York City based photographer.
Born in Israel and raised in Belgium, she has been working in the New York Hassidic community for years.
“Women's side” is my photographic journal of an insular Ultra-Orthodox Jewish community over a ten-year period (2011-2022). Drawn from over a thousand weddings that I photographed in Brooklyn and upstate New York in the rapidly expanding communities of New Square and Kiryas Joel, it includes images and video, as well as text vignettes.
